The Brentwood Area Soccer Association (BASA) is pleased to
announce that new members have been elected.
Elections were held on January 8, 2014.
Please join us in welcoming your new board members and please take note
to some changes that have gone into effect as well.
Dave Sayre, the former president of BASA, has stepped down
into the role of Vice President. Dave
will be working closely with the newly elected president of soccer, Robert
Levino.
For those of you who do know Robert, he currently has 2
children playing for BASA. Robert has
been active as a coach, field helper, and a parent of BASA over the past few
years. We are confident that his passion
for youth athletics will carry over to his new role. Robert has already proposed some great ideas
and we cannot wait to work with him.
Stephanie Richards, who is currently the travel team
coordinator for the Brentwood Bulldogs, is also stepping into the role of club
secretary. Stephanie also has 2 children
who play for BASA. She is eager to step
in and help out in additional areas, such as ordering uniforms, scheduling, and
awards. Some of you may remember
Stephanie from the concession stand as she worked there during the Fall 2013
season.
Behrooz Rahimzadeh, one of the original founders of BASA, will
remain in his role as the club’s treasurer.
Kristina Kelley is also remaining in her role as the club’s registrar
and plans to continue coaching in the 4 year old age group. Dave Sayre will continue to coach both in-house
soccer and will remain the head coach of the Brentwood Bulldogs travel soccer
team. He is also going to assist with
coach and player development.
